Naz Aydemir has been distributing play for Turkey's national team and the country's top clubs for the best part of the last two decades - and looks for more, in keeping with the precedents set by those around her in her life.
Born in 1990 to a family deeply seeped in sport, her parents Alev and Ali volleyball players themselves, Naz carried on the tradition in spectacular fashion, starting her career with Eczacibasi Istanbul.
At national team level Aydemir has not picked up any major trophies - but with the clubs she's played at she's right up there at the very top amongst the most successful volleyball players.
She's held three FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship trophies with Fenerbahce Istanbul (2010) and VakifBank Istanbul (2013 and 2017), as well as having collected four gold medals at the European Champions League with Fenerbahce (2012) and Vakifbank (2013, 2017 and 2018).
