Alexa Gray will be a pivotal player in Canada's campaign

Canada has announced its first-ever roster to compete at the 2021 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League as 17 players have been selected by head coach Shannon Winzer to represent the country in Rimini, Italy, at the end of May.

Canada has qualified to appear at the VNL for the first time after winning the 2019 FIVB Challenger Cup. The tournament will also be the first with Winzer at the helm as she took over from former head coach Tom Black last December.

The group of players will travel to Italy in the next few days and will spend its entire preparation period ahead of the tournament in the European country.
